Founding member of No Hot Ashes, Power of Ten, The Collectors and Graffiti. David has been playing guitar in bands and writing for over 25 years. He recorded the one and only No Hot Ashes album in 1988 before returning from London to Belfast, Northern Ireland in early 1991. He joined Dublin band, Fridays Child (which was really a reformation of No Hot Ashes, as most of the members were ex-NHA) until the band split a year later. He was a member of Belfast based 'Clouds' for a short period until forming his own band Power of Ten in 1992, which continues to this day, now as a two piece band.
He also found time to perform at the Song for Ireland competition on a number of occasions, provide session guitar for a number of local bands, and is currently operating a number of Rock Music Schools in the greater Belfast area, under the franchise ' Clive's Easylearn Rock Schools', teaching kids from as young as 7 years old how to play guitar, drums, bass and keyboards with a team of enthusiastic tutors.
