Free MP3's now up...

Well, we just couldn't be decisive about which tracks should go up and which should not. So in the end, we've just stuck the lot up there, lucky you. Hope you like them, and if you do, why not drop us a line and tell us which are your favourites, and which ones you're not so hot on!

The extra benefit for you of course is that they are all FREEEE. Had we been able to pick a good number of them we would have compiled them up into an album and charged you for them! So that'll teach us to be more decisive in the future Happy

There are now 19 free tracks on the Music Downloads page so hurry along and get them before we decide to take some of them down again. Some of these never got round to getting the full treatment so are still basically in demo form. A few have been published to various publishing houses, and some have already been included on compilation albums. One track, Hand's Up, even got as far as been on the shortlist for an album by a Canadian female Country singer.

Broadband service provider change...

We lose all contact with the outside world from tomorrow as we are changing broadband provider. We currently use PIPEX who have been very reliable, but thought we would give Talk Talk a go as the service is free. Problem is that PIPEX account gets closed on the 23rd Feb, but Talk Talk can’t have us up and running until the 2nd of March at the latest. So hopefully all will go to plan and we will be back online before then, but these things aren’t guaranteed so a bit apprehensive to say the least.

Not to worry, it will give us an opportunity to do some offline blogging and other site stuff, and then blast it all live in one go. So keep in touch. AND..we'll be back with some photos and news of an important event !!

Start your own music school...

David has recently opened a couple Rock Schools, under the name of 'Clive's Easylearn Rock and Pop Music School'. The schools operate in the greater Belfast area and cater for pupils from 7 years and up. Guitar, Bass, Drums and Keyboards are taught by hand selected tutors in weekly sessions that include a fun jamming session at the end of every lesson.

The classes operate 30 min sessions for juniors (aged 7 to 9 ) and hourly sessions for the seniors (10 and above). Already the schools, which opened in October, are creating quite a stir with parents, pupils and local musicians looking for part-time work as tutors. If you know someone who would love to learn to play in a rock band then send them to
www.clivesmusic.com and go to the 'Find Nearest School' link to book a FREE taster session in Guitar, Bass, Drums or Keyboards.

OR...if you fancy starting one of your own enjoyable and profitable schools click the banner below for more information, and sign up for the newsletter.

Website Overhaul...again

Well, it's that time again. Although we were very happy with the previous website design, I thought it was high time we got something which included a blog and at the same time was easy to keep updated. This is it for next while, except to say that work is under way to include quite a few additional elements to the site including the long awaited section on No Hot Ashes, and the chance to listen to some of the tracks we recorded in London many years ago, and which, frankly, we thought we would never hear or see again. However we have managed to unearth some if not all of the material so it is going to great fun getting it up on this site for posterity. More to follow on this, including the chance to get a hold of a copy of our very first single (on vinyl no less !!) 'She Drive's Me Crazy' ....

I am also looking into getting a shop up here so you can actually download the album, and adding an RSS feed to keep you all updated.

Stay tuned,
