He's only a bass player !!!

Yeah, he's only a bass player but he has more guitars than you can shake a plush lined, snug fitting case at.

Paul is a serial collector, and not just bass guitars fall under his radar, he collects real ones too !! In fact you may ask yourself "doesn't one bass sound just like another?". The answer is a great big "NO", delivered with a look of disdain. "And they don't look like one another either." Thankfully each and every one of them sees the light of day at least one day a week, for checking, noodling and plain old having fun.

The collection includes basses by Musicman, Fender, Paul Reed Smith (PRS), G&L, Rickenbacker and Suhr among others, and guitars by Fender, Gibson, Rickenbacker, and more being added on a frighteningly regular basses....oops...basis.

Start your own music school...

David has recently opened a couple Rock Schools, under the name of 'Clive's Easylearn Rock and Pop Music School'. The schools operate in the greater Belfast area and cater for pupils from 7 years and up. Guitar, Bass, Drums and Keyboards are taught by hand selected tutors in weekly sessions that include a fun jamming session at the end of every lesson.

The classes operate 30 min sessions for juniors (aged 7 to 9 ) and hourly sessions for the seniors (10 and above). Already the schools, which opened in October, are creating quite a stir with parents, pupils and local musicians looking for part-time work as tutors. If you know someone who would love to learn to play in a rock band then send them to
www.clivesmusic.com and go to the 'Find Nearest School' link to book a FREE taster session in Guitar, Bass, Drums or Keyboards.

OR...if you fancy starting one of your own enjoyable and profitable schools click the banner below for more information, and sign up for the newsletter.

Website Overhaul...again

Well, it's that time again. Although we were very happy with the previous website design, I thought it was high time we got something which included a blog and at the same time was easy to keep updated. This is it for next while, except to say that work is under way to include quite a few additional elements to the site including the long awaited section on No Hot Ashes, and the chance to listen to some of the tracks we recorded in London many years ago, and which, frankly, we thought we would never hear or see again. However we have managed to unearth some if not all of the material so it is going to great fun getting it up on this site for posterity. More to follow on this, including the chance to get a hold of a copy of our very first single (on vinyl no less !!) 'She Drive's Me Crazy' ....

I am also looking into getting a shop up here so you can actually download the album, and adding an RSS feed to keep you all updated.

Stay tuned,
